Very pleasant stay will come again

Our room was nice, and clean. The shower curtain was short of the top of the tub, and made the bathroom floor wet after showering. The phone in the room did not work at all. We had to take the top off the toilet, pull up the float to get the tank to refill. The names of the products in the shower ( Shampoo, conditioner, Body wash) were written too small to read what they were in each container. Breakfast was the standard fair.

Unfortunately, I am unable to review the actual hotel, as they called me on my way there to inform me they actually did not have any rooms available. I stay in Marriott hotels approximately 100 nights per year, and this was the only time I have had my room cancelled without any apology or offer of compensation. In fact, the agent that called was extremely rude, and told me that my compensation for being denied a room as a titanium member was that they were canceling my room “free of charge”. No offer to help me make last minute alternative reservations or anything. Plan on staying elsewhere if you actually need to occupy a room.

Extremely clean and well maintained property. Met all the expectations. The only negative is that my 6 and 8 year Olds thought the pool was small, it was, but they were the only ones using it. I am sure when the hotel is busy the pool may not be accessible when you want and you may need to go back when it cleared out. It's in a great location for walking across the street to Dutch wonderland and the outlets. The breakfast is fantastic. Many options and is fresh. *Special thanks to the following Staff* Nana - Hooking up our family with a bunch of extra towels due to being missed by housekeeping. Leroy - For getting my 6 year old a plain bagel for her eggs as she only likes plain. Stay here as it is better than the Radisson next door.

SCAM ALERT! This hotel stole my $643.80 booking fee and cancelled my reservation without a refund. I booked directly over the phone with Marriott, and they said they’d put a note in the system to request adjoining rooms, and they required that I pay for a more expensive room type. However, according to the hotel, no such note existed. When I called the morning of check-in to confirm the adjoining rooms, I was told we could have them if we changed bed types. I wasn’t happy, but I accepted the change. However, when I arrived later that day, I was told we could not have adjoining rooms at all. Though disappointed, I accepted all of this. Then I found out that the professional photo of an outdoor pool on google is from a DIFFERENT HOTEL! This photo has been up for three years, and it is the main photo on this hotel’s google business page. The Manager on Duty, Daidy, was unapologetic about this. When I asked how she’d feel if she promised her four-year-old a vacation with an outdoor pool only to be scammed, she said, “I probably wouldn’t care.” When I asked Daidy to wait so that I could contact Marriott directly about this, she cancelled my stay without refunding my $643.80 booking fee and left my family scrambling to find another place to stay. While the other hotel staff we encountered were cold and uncaring, Daidy truly seemed to enjoy ruining our vacation. She stole our booking fee without providing a room, seemingly as retribution for me asking her to hold on while I contact Marriott directly. Though I booked directly through Marriott as a Bonvoy member, they’ve been completely unhelpful. Apparently, Marriot is just a third-party booking service for their own hotels, and my refund is in the hands of this particular hotel’s unhinged management. My emails to the hotel have been ignored so far, and I’m stuck having to waste time suing them to recoup my booking fee.

My husband & I had such a wonderful experience at the Fairfield Inn in E. Lancaster at the Outlets. We were greeted warmly when we first arrived by the front desk staff. The hotel was so well located to get to the Sight & Sound theater and a couple of blocks away from the beautiful Amish country farms. Cracker Barrel is right next door and we had a yummy dinner there. Shannon was incredible at the breakfast buffet. She couldn't have done one more thing for any of the guests. I saw her clearing people's dishes as they finished and she was so personable and pleasant. We had a long conversation about her previous job at CVS since my husband worked for the corporation in RI for 30 years. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This place is on the verge of being below average. Why put out rotten fruit? The banana was more brown than yellow. Breakfast seemed like leftovers from the weekend. Road is very noisy at night and in the morning when the 18 wheelers go down the hill in front of the hotel.

This hotel is close enough to Amish farmland and modern destinations. The usual complaints were low water pressure and too soft pillows. Also, the complimentary breakfast options were poor in comparison to others. However, we would consider staying here again.

We stayed here almost every year since this hotel opened up. Now, (2 weeks ago) it just went Down Hill. We had to change rooms 3 times!!!! NON WORKING: Air Conditioner Microwave TV Ice machine Juice Machine There was a brownish/ reddish stain, on one of our towels At the time we were there, the hotel had almost No Quality Control. This was a "...no frills hotel..." The breakfast food quality and quantity had dropped. We have been going to Lancaster almost every year for the last 46 years, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This year, our Wedding Anniversary was ruined. The Queen Studio Suite, we requested several times before we arrived, had No Working Air Conditioner. Why didn't someone check it? So we had to Celebrate our wedding anniversary dinner, downstairs in the breakfast area. The 2nd Queen Studio Suite only had, 1 of the 2 working TVs and a Non Working Microwave. That room was facing the highway, which was very loud. If you are planning to stay there, which I would not recommend, make sure your room is not facing the highway. The 3rd room also had a non working microwave. At least one of the hotels ice makers was not working. Which was confirmed by a member of the hotel staff. They did have a hot breakfast. At the time that we were there, the bacon was so thin, you could have seen right through it. The eggs were made out of a liquid batch, very bland. They had no fruit, no hot oatmeal, in essence, the shelves were almost bare. The juice machine downstairs for breakfast, had a sign on it "out of service". They were two waffle irons downstairs for breakfast. But they were only available for Weekend Guests Only. The second day we were there, we needed assistance to Move Our Room Again. 3rd time (I am disabled) Unfortunately, I was told by the hotel's management, all they had at that time was one person in the hotel and she was at the front desk. Eventually, someone did come to help us. But at that point, the stress from everything that went wrong during those two days, was so much for me. I went into to a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. Again, while we were there over the last previous years, the quality of the hotel and staff had no issues. The quality and quantity of the food, was very satisfactory. The good thing about this hotel, if and when everything works, is its location. It is directly across the street from Dutch Wonderland. It is also a walkable distance to the Tanger Outlets, through the back door. There are also, fast food outlets directly next to the Outlets. Due to the design of the hotel, I strongly recommend, that if you want a quiet room away from the highway, you should request a room, towards the back of the hotel and away from the elevator, which is next to the ice machine.
